Galt

Galt is a city in Sacramento County, and is part of the Sacramento–Arden-Arcade–Roseville Metropolitan Statistical Area with a population of 23,647 in 2010. Galt holds an annual Winter Bird Festival; a celebration in which The City of Galt, in collaboration with other organizations show off the beauty and tranquility of the Cosumnes River Preserve. Another widely recognized celebration hosted by City of Galt is the Independence Day Celebration; a fun filled day that caters to the entire family with a 5k run in memory of Officer Kevin Tonn, a kid zone, Independence day parade, horseshoe tournament, exhibit hall, all world softball tournament, and of course the fireworks celebration. Around town you will find that the locals never miss the weekly Galt Flea Markets, The Rae House Museum, The Community Parks, and Downtown Galt. Galt is only about 30 minutes away from Sacramento if you are looking to have a fun night out in a big city, yet Lodi is also 10 miles away to a relaxing getaway.
